Welcome to Daybreak Visions

Hello there and welcome to my site. Feel free to pull up a chair, get comfortable and let yourself drift off to simpler times. That's what Daybreak Visions is for me, a chance for me to go back to when life was simpler. I refer to this as reclaiming my childhood, you remember your childhood right, running barefoot in the soft grass, rolling in leaves, lemonade on a hot summer day and so on.

I was raised in coastal Maine, the youngest of 5. My parents worked hard, a CNA and a truck driver that took a job in the Iron Works field when life on the road became too hard on the family. You can probably say I was the old soul of the family, preferred time with my grandparents and listened to all their stories. At the age of 3 they had me set up in a lawn chair knitting lobster pot heads for my grandfathers lobster traps. I wouldn't trade my childhood for the world, but I do wish the world we live in today had more childhood in it.

In the spirit of that childhood mind I have dug out the antique cookbooks belonging to 3 generations of family members, the mason jars, the reclaimed wood and dusted off the old mixer (my mothers from 30+ years ago) and started making a few of those items that make the heart smile.

Now because sadly we are all adults and have many responsibilities we don't have the time for things of a relaxed nature that we might be missing so that's where I come in.

I'm offering you the chance to maybe reclaim a little time for yourself. I bake cakes and cupcakes that might help out with those school bake sales or birthday parties. I provide meal service where healthy home cooked dinner can be prepared for you up to 5 nights a week and your only responsibility is to reheat or quick cook them. I also offer home staging, whether you'd like to pull together items you already have but can't see the final picture, have guests coming and want to spruce up or maybe you're looking to sell your home and need some outside assistance. As a twist I also offer framed photography, a hobby that has turned into thousands of pictures in need of display, perhaps your home has the perfect wall?
